German first edition (reprint?) from 1950 with a probably reissued contemporary dust jacket showing a photo of Anne Frank on the front panel. The first-issued dust jacket of the first edition showed a text by 'Jacques de Lapadre in 'Arts'' on the front panel. Contains a plan of the house within the text and 3 Black and White photos (1. Anne Frank, 2. closed shelf-door to the Achterhuis, 3. open shelf-door to the Achterhuis) and a facsimile print of the last page of Anne Frank's diary.
Book is in near fine condition, bright and clean except two miniscule light brown spots on the spine edge to the front board. Dustjacket condition is very good except miniscule soiling and signs of shelf-ware and a small closed tear on the top of the back panel. DJ is now protected by a transparent Adaptaroll sleeve. First editions, early printings of 'Anne Franks Diary' are scarce to get in the German version.
